Oh, good. Thought this only happened to me! Last year, we found Carrie and Henry in my room with my MK Rich Berry, all over themselves (including hair) and carpet. I think we took off 2 layers of skin with the 4 bottles of nail polish remover we used. I wasn't feeling too sorry for them though.
I used fingernail polish remover! And evidently that stings when applied to the facial area. :-) The problem is further compounded when the face is then washed with soap, and some of that soap gets into the mouth. She was not a happy camper but I had a really hard time feeling sorry for her. I did laugh when, after I had washed the face with soap, she told me, "my tongue hurts."
BTW, this was just a few hours after she had gotten into the toothpaste in the bathroom and smeared it all over the sink, counter, mirror, and her hair!
This happened to me a few months ago with my two year old! No Mary Kay here however. I walked into the living room and there was Pi sitting on the couch kicked back all relaxed like no big deal painting her fingernails. Shockingly she did an okay job. It was mostly on her fingertips and nails. But when I shrieked she jumped and some got on a blanket she was sitting on.
I am a blessed wife of more than 17 years, homeschooling mother to 6 beautiful girls, and a daughter of the King. My husband and I jokingly referred to our homeschooling endeavor as the "Smith Academy for Girls" several years ago, and as God kept blessing us with girls, the name stuck. We hope this blog will help our family and friends stay in touch with us as we strive to bring up our brood to be godly women in His Kingdom.

Lookin good, Lauryn! Mom loves it!
OH NO!! I was hoping it was lipstick! Gotta love those Mary Kay colors though :-)
Which one of the other girls did this to Lauryn??? It has to be a frame job. That beautiful little girl would never do anything like this!
So, Mom, did you say, "Wait a minute while I get the camera?" Thought so!!! Love it.
the Papa says to tell you that if she had better parents, of course this never would have happened.
Victoria just wishes she could have been there to play 'get into Mom's makeup'. That is one of her favorites!
Lauren is just too cute! How can you not help but laugh! So, how did you get the nail polish off?

Nice! Since the common denominator seems to be "Rich Berry" I'll go put my somewhere safe right now....

Oh and by the way, that color looks good on her!
